The Odds Were Against Us,
   And Yet, Here We Are . . . .

Living Among the Stars

I'm a paragraph. Click here to add your own text and edit me. It's easy.

  Greetings, Fellow Travelers  !

After countless generations we have now arrived at a special moment in time . . . self-organized, self-aware lifeforms stuck by gravity to a ball racing endlessly through an unlimited sea-of-nothing  called  "SPACE.

Pretty bizarre to think about what's actually going on here.

Bizarre, yes, but TRUE without doubt !

So what is it all about, anyway ? Is there any purpose to this insanity, or will we all simply continue our moment-by-moment activities until it finally does arrive . . . our last day on Earth? Maybe 30 or 60 years from now, or perhaps even later on this day. . . . .  but without fail an inescapable fade to black that is waiting for us all  . . . . . .

                                             Game Over !!

   . . . Possibly  . . .

         . . . Probably Not  . . .

There is growing awareness that we are involved in an unfolding, transcendent Reality that is more deeply holistic and fulfilling than anything we could ever have imagined.

And from the sense of such a place, this music comes.

As we know, music communicates with a language of it's own,  no words required. But while words with a song make a statement, the music with them can supply evidence to their truth, intuition resonating with meaning to reveal Reality in a quiet absence of left-brained proof.

This music was written (except for "Blackbird"), performed and

recorded by a single individual   ~   Me.

( Engineering too, without question the most challenging part! )

Technology has made such things possible now that truly were impossible "back in the day" when I was starting out as a young musician.  L o l

If there is interest, it would be great to use this site for ongoing conversations. There are meaningful issues to ponder, important ideas to discuss and more songs to record. However, as I am involved in each step in that process, and still working, music production is at a much slower pace.

Thank you for reading this and I hope you enjoy the music.

Final Thoughts

There is a donate button on the "Downloads" page. No attention was given to making this "commercial" music. My goal in making it was to create a conduit of meaning, if possible. As a result, I expect little from purchasing. However, if someone sees value in what I am doing, and would care to support it, that would be genuinely appreciated.

Finally, I should point out that "Blackbird" was written by Paul

McCartney and John Lennon. (Actually, I'm pretty sure it was

all Paul.) It's a unique song I have enjoyed playing for many years

and somehow feels right being part of this first solo effort.     T

           Note

Thank you in advance if you choose that option
